P1 really straight, fast and smooth?

[FOR THOSE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO SEE ME NAGGING ALL AROUND, PLEASE KINDLY JUST SCROLL DOWN AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE STATISTICS]

Malaysia has a notorious ISP provider, undoubtedly, I'm not gonna to say its name here(as I don't want to "one night stand" in Kajang jail). Luckily, a brand new ISP provider - P1 wimax arrived my resident area few months ago. I believe almost all residents among here thought that the messiah has come and we would be able to get rid of the rusty copper wire.

At the very beginning, really, it did fly.

The installation of P1 really coloured our daily life - it could reach about 1.++ Mb/s, never disconnect.

Nevertheless, love story always come with an end while most of the endings are not the happy one... The good condition doesn't last long... not even for five months!

We broke our contract with Streamyx by compensating almost RM300(when we signed the p1 contract, there was no any plan like "potong" and get discount), believing that we would get what we were guaranteed for.

Of course, we don't.

The connection signal of p1 grows weaker day by day. Consequently, we are not able to log on the internet on rainy days as well as cloudy afternoon.

Besides, bit torrent was also blocked recently despite of having the fair usage with 40Gb limit. My BitComet used to run on the Sahara Desert. Now? it just crawl in front of me...

The unacceptable service is driving us crazy, so now, we want to lift up our voice and let the Google knows(we will try our very best to let the crowd found us via google, I promised).

Furthermore, we really advice that those who are considering to 'potong' also take ISP like celcom/digi/maxis into your consideration. They won't disappoint you, because p1 doesn't better.

Few statistics:

If you are doubting whether this picture is a photoshoped image, you can take a look at its direct link: It is hosted on speedtest.net.

The day when I was running this test was a clear day.

Better than streamyx? I don't think so.

What does grade "F" means? Read yourself~

Since you can online now, why don't you test for the bandwidth and line quality of yourself?

If you are worrying that 40Gb fair usage limit is not enough for you, please don't worry for that.
Since October, I could not finish the 40Gb usage.... just because of its lousy service!
